Authorities have identified the passenger who died in a crash after colliding with a horse on highway 395 near Red Rock Road off-ramp last week. 

Throughout the span of his life, Edward Phillips served in the Navy, was a real estate professional, long-time Hot August Nights participant, and member of the Fernley Chamber of Commerce, among many other things.
