Officials with the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks announced on Friday that the 2020 Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook Off has been canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off starts Wednesday, bringing 23 rib cookers from around the country, along with up to 500,000 people which requires a lot of security.
