An event for all senses in only one week, the streets of Sparks will once again be welcoming the Nugget Rib Cook Off.
With 250,000 pounds of ribs, this year’s event promises to be a mix of flavors. The event kicks off Wednesday, August 28 and will last for six days.
The new Nugget Events Center will also be home for the event.
“We are going to utilize that, we are going to have a lot of crafters out there, some beverage booths out there as well as the kids area,” says Randy Kennedy, Director of Marketing and Communication at The Nugget.
People are asked to park in the lot near the movie theatre and at the west parking at the Nugget.
You can also take a shuttle from the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center, or Sparks Christian Fellowship.
