The Biscar Fire burning in Lassen and Washoe counties is still anticipated to be fully contained later this week. 

Forward progress has stopped on the Junction 2 Fire burning near U.S. 395 and the Hallelujah Junction Wildlife Area, just across the Nevada-California border. 

A portion of U.S. 395 north near the I-580 intersection in south Carson City has reopened after an hours-long closure due to a dump truck crash.

A rollover crash on U.S. 395 left a pickup off the shoulder, with the driver out and no major injuries reported.

Phase two of the 395 widening project will continue highway improvements between Golden Valley Road and Stead Boulevard.
