Nevada Department of Transportation is letting drivers know that lanes will be reduced on U.S. 395 in north Reno starting next week. It's part of a continuing project to resurface multiple bridges across the Truckee Meadows.
Drivers will see the following lane reductions on both directions of U.S. 395 from the Reno Spaghetti Bowl to North McCarran Boulevard between 8 p.m. October 6 and 6 a.m. October 12:
- DAYTIME 6 a.m.- 8 p.m. - U.S. 395 reduced to two lanes in each direction
- NIGHTIME 8 p.m. - 6 a.m.- U.S. 395 reduced to one lane in each direction.
Travel will still be available on U.S. 395, but drivers are advised to use alternate routes when possible. Additional state highway information is available at dot.nv.gov.
