We have an update on a young man we've been following in our "Someone 2 Know" segment for more than a decade.
Garrett Allen - who's now 15 - is fighting for his life at UCSF.
When I met him, he received regular blood transfusions for a rare bone marrow condition. As a result of the disease, he's now battling leukemia... and months ago had a bone marrow transplant.
But he's having a rough time. He developed graft vs. host disease which means the donated bone marrow is attacking his body.
He's been in ICU for months and his parents haven't left his side.
So co-workers started a Go Fund Me page to raise money for them since vacation time and money has run out.
