A South Lake Tahoe City Councilman faces drug charges after being arrested late last month.
California Highway Patrol say they stopped a Tesla near the Meyers Agricultural Station on September 25th after the driver showed signs of intoxication.
After a short investigation, troopers arrested Cody Bass where he was booked into the El Dorado County Jail.
CHP says they found substances believed to be cocaine and meth in the car.
