Sparks Police are investigating a case of child luring that happened Wednesday evening in the area of the 1800 block of Prater Way.
Police say a teenage girl had left a Citifare bus and was walking through a parking lot when a male in a vehicle asked her if she wanted a ride. When she said no, the man drove away eastbound on D Street.
The suspect is described as Hispanic, in his mid-30s with a thin mustache, and wearing a black baseball cap with a yellow logo. The vehicle is described as a newer Jeep, possibly a Liberty model, silver in color. The girl told police the vehicle had a black luggage rack roof.
The man and vehicle have not been located (at the time of this writing.)
The girl was not hurt.
