Nevada men’s basketball has added an exhibition contest ahead of the start of the 2021-22 season. The Wolf Pack will host Dominican University Monday, Nov. 1, for a 7 p.m. tip at Lawlor Events Center.
Admission to the event will be free, with open seating. Only the lower and upper bowls will be available to fans in attendance; court-level seating will be closed for the exhibition. Per state of Nevada and university mandate, all attendees must wear a mask indoors, regardless of vaccination status. COVID protocols for regular season games will be announced soon.
Fans may enter Lawlor through Gate 22, by the West Stadium Parking Complex. Doors will open 60 minutes prior to tip (6 p.m.).
Parking for the exhibition will be available on floors 3-6 of the West Stadium Parking Complex, with ADA parking available on levels 1-2. Fans are asked to enter the complex through the 16th Street entrance. For patrons using ADA parking, a drop off will be set up on the first floor. Additional parking will be available in the surface lots north of Lawlor Events Center.
The contest will serve as the Pack’s warm-up ahead of its Nov. 9 season opener against Eastern Washington. Mini-plans and single-game tickets for the 2021-22 campaign are available now, and can be purchased by contacting the ticket office at 775-348-PACK (7225) or by emailing wolfpackticketinfo@unr.edu. Ticket options and price breakdowns by section are available here for mini-plans and here for single-game tickets.
It will also be the first public opportunity to see the 2021-22 Wolf Pack, featuring 2021-22 Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year Grant Sherfield and 2021 All-Mountain West Third-Team selection Desmond Cambridge, Jr. in game action.
Earlier Wednesday, the Pack was tabbed to finish third in the 2021-22 Mountain west predicted order of finish. In addition to Sherfield and Cambridge, Jr., the Wolf Pack also returns Warren Washington (10.0 ppg, 5.9 rpg in 2020-21) and K.J. Hymes (6.3 ppg, 22 blocks), along with starters Tré Coleman (5.0 ppg, 20 steals) and Daniel Foster (4.3 ppg, 48.6 FG pct. over 11 games).
A highly-anticipated group of newcomers to the Pack includes five-star recruit Will Baker, a seven-foot center transfer from Texas, along with transfers AJ Bramah (Robert Morris) and Kenan Blackshear (FAU).
