The Reno Aces (33-39) dropped their third consecutive matchup to the Salt Lake Bees (31-40) in a 7-3 loss on Thursday at Smith’s Ballpark.
 Sergio Alcantara collected three hits, including an RBI double to score Ronaldo Hernandez and get Reno on the board in the second inning.
 Albert Almora drove in two runs on a pair of singles in the fifth and seventh innings. The outfielder has reached base in all but three games in 16 matchups in June.
 Cristian Mena (3-2) took the loss, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks across six innings of work, he struck out eight. Through 15 starts this season, the young prospect has registered a 4.75 ERA with a 81:36 K: BB in 77 2/3 innings.
 The Aces will look to bounce back in Friday’s matchup against the Salt Lake Bees, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, with the first pitch scheduled for 5:35 p.m. PT.Â
