The third performance of the 2025 Reno Rodeo brought big scores, fast times, and a shake-up in the standings as top-ranked cowboys lit up the arena on Sunday night.Â
Tonight's bareback lineup was stacked with top competitors and two past champions, but it was Tristan Hansen and Kade Sonnier who shared the victory lap tonight with their 86.5 scores.Â
In saddle bronc riding, Cash Wilson, currently ranked No. 27 in the world standings, electrified the crowd with a standout 88.5-point ride, launching him into the overall lead on the week.Â
2024 Reno Rodeo bull riding champion Tristen Hutchings continues to see success in the Reno Rodeo arena, edging his way to the top of the standings so far following his 90-point ride on Flying U Rodeo's Bad Habits.Â
In steer wrestling, it was Seth Peterson who threw down the gauntlet with a sharp 5.0-second run, edging out Joe Nelson by six-tenths of a second to win the night.
Team roping saw smooth hands and fast ropes from Quinton Pachuan and Bryce Graves, who stopped the clock at 5.1 seconds.Â
J.T. Adamson led the tie-down roping with a swift and clean 8.8-second run, besting a competitive field.
Breakaway roping brought fierce competition, but it was Jackie Crawford who stood out with a 3.6-second throw. The veteran roper delivered under pressure, securing the fastest time of the evening with precision and speed.
Barrel racing saw several tight turns and fast times, and it was LaTricia Duke who topped the leaderboard with a smooth, controlled run of 17.42 seconds.Â
