Truckee Police arrested a Truckee resident after receiving reports of a partially burned American flag in front of the Glenshire General Store Saturday morning.
Police officers identified and arrested local resident, Joshua Lozon, for felony arson and he was booked into the Nevada County Jail.
The flag was respectfully removed and will be turned over to the Tahoe Truckee Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol, United States Air Force Auxiliary for proper retirement.
A United States Army veteran gave the officers his own personal American flag, which was then put in place of the damaged flag.
