Tahoe Queen Towed Back to Dock; Investigation Continues

The Tahoe Queen is back on a dock after getting stuck on a sandbar earlier this week.

    

Crews with Vessel Assist Lake Tahoe and High Sierra Marine towed the boat back to the dock around 6 p.m. Tuesday, after it became stuck that afternoon.

    

We've reached out to the company that operates the Tahoe Queen - Aramark - and so far have not heard back from them about when they plan to put the boat back into service.

    

The Coast Guard is still investigating what caused the boat to get stuck, resulting in the evacuation of more than 300 people.
