Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District crews say open burning with a propane burner started a small fire in the front yard of a home in south Reno.
TMFPD quickly knocked down the 1/10 acre fire, which started just before 1:15 p.m. Friday on Cherrywood Drive near Callahan Road.
No injuries were reported.
TMFPD crews say open burning is prohibited in Washoe County.
