I worked for the US Government (Army, Navy and Air Force), was an electrical contractor, worked as a carpenter and was a painting contractor, very familiar with agriculture, ranching, animals and rural life, (District 5 is 90 percent of the county and very rural), have many hours of water law under my belt, Real estate broker since 1970. I also worked as a truck driver and accountant at various times. Lots of experience with contracts and NRS.
WHAT IS YOUR TOP PRIORITY IF ELECTED?
Our country needs serious improvements in the infrastructure department especially in the North Valleys and I plan to fix that. Also, I will continue to build up our law enforcement in order to secure the safety of our citizens.
IN JUST A FEW SENTENCES: WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM FACING OUR COUNTY, AND HOW WOULD YOU FIX IT?
We are growing at an irresponsible pace, and we are unable to provide services and infrastructure to the existing citizens of our county who deserve better. We need adequate sewers and dependable water supply, roads and maintenance of roads for safe travel. I'd change the priority of the Commission from "Development at any cost" to "Serve and Protect citizens First."
