Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) says crews responded to a crash on Pyramid Highway and David James Boulevard in Spanish Springs on Friday afternoon.
The crash was reported just before 1:15 p.m.
The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District says two people were taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
NHP says northbound lanes of Pyramid Highway have reopened and southbound is set to reopen in 15 minutes.
