An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed in Reno early Thursday morning. 

The incident happened just after 6 a.m. at America's Best Travel Inn on Wells Avenue. 

Police say the man was stabbed inside one of the rooms. 

He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
