The Carson City DMV was temporarily evacuated early Wednesday afternoon after a suspicious package was found inside the building.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office helped along with Capitol Police.
The sheriff's office says people inside the DMV were told to evacuate at around 1:45 p.m.
The Tahoe/Douglas Bomb Squad investigated the package, which was a backpack, and found nothing suspicious.
