Nevada basketball player Jordan Brown announced on Friday that will continue his career at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
The sophomore is Nevada's first five star recruit and second McDonald's All-American.
The five star recruit said he originally chose to come to Nevada to help the team reach its potential.
His honors include Mountain West preseason Freshman of the Year and being named to the Karl Malone Award preseason watch list.
Sports Illustrated reports Brown is ineligible to play this upcoming season due to NCAA rules. He'll have three years of eligibility remaining when he joins the team in 2020.
The forward is from Roseville, California.
Brown posted this statement on Twitter:
“I want to being by thanking the city of Reno for filling Lawlor every night and making it a great atmosphere for my first year of college. The love and support you showed us was something I’ll never forget… but with that being said, I would like to announce that I will be continuing my career at the University of Arizona.”
