2 News Nevada has launched a new feature on its website designed to help viewers across Northern Nevada and parts of California stay ahead of the weather.
The interactive page, called NevadaWX 2Go, is now live under the main Weather tab at 2news.com.
Once on the Weather page, users can access NevadaWX 2Go by clicking the top right box within the white four-box section under the “2 STORM WATCH WEATHER” banner.
The new page serves as a hub for weather updates, insights, and viewer engagement.
It features the Weather Journal, where meteorologists post rotating updates with the latest local forecast, and more on weather insight, which includes articles on weather-related topics such as “Saying Goodbye to a Taste of Fall” and “How Lightning Forms.”
A Forecast Files Video Library is also available, offering explainer videos like “The Science Behind Rainbows” and “Spotting Signs of Heat-Related Illness.”
Additionally, the Captured Skies Gallery invites viewers to share their own weather-related photos from around the region.
The station encourages the public to visit the new page and explore its features, then share it with friends and family.
