As COVID-19 cases surge in Northern Nevada, Carson Tahoe Health is putting out a 'mask-ask' for more homemade masks and head coverings for their hospital staff. 

These homemade medical supplies help extend the life of their medical grade masks by acting as a second line of defense. 

The medical center in Carson City provided a 'how-to' for making the masks, including instructions, patterns, and videos.
