Original Story, August 2020: Officials with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) say it's asking for the public's help selecting the agency's "cutest K9."
They said TSA uses explosive detection K9s in security operations to help keep the traveling public safe. They said not only are these K9s highly skilled, they are pretty cute!
Officials said in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, they are looking to spread a little joy.
In honor of National Dog Day on Wednesday, August 26, TSA is holing the TSA Cutest Canine Contest.
Voting opens on August 19 and closes on August 21. Voting can be completed on TSA's Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts.
