Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day, and NextGen Nevada was on campus helping students get registered.
“The youth electoral voting block is the largest growing block in the country. It is the most progressive and the most diverse and we really need to get our voices out there because our generation is the generation that is going to be the most affected,” says Max Jenkins.

“This is all you need to fill out and they go that’s it or sometimes in the end I say ‘ok, you are finished’ and they go ‘that’s it?’” says Jaylene Tiscareno, NextGen Nevada.
According to the Washoe County Registrar of Voters currently almost 270,000 people are registered to vote. Out of that 91,817 are registered to vote as a Democrat, 97,394 under Republican and 53,513 under Nonpartisan.

The last day to register to vote online is October 18th and early voting starts October 20th
