Officials with the University of Nevada, Reno gave an update on work that's been done since the Argenta Hall explosion last year.
Officials said The Den is set to reopen when students return and the Argenta cafeteria will open in fall of 2021.
They said the university won't need the Wolf Pack Tower at the Eldorado Resort Casino this year and Nye Hall will reopen in July 2020.
Officials said they've replaced every window in Nye Hall with energy efficient windows and Argenta Hall won't be ready for the fall, but there will be student housing nearby built by private developers. The two buildings that will be available are called Uncommon and Canyon Flats.
They said they don't have the bus services because locations were close to campus, but both options will cost the same as Argenta.
Uncommon will open on August 15 and Canyon Flats will open August 25, which is two days into the fall semester. There is a contingency plan for students at the owner's expense, given $25 per day. Transportation will be provided.
Officials said design for Argenta Hall and dining options are well underway.
