The Sun Valley General Improvement District and Washoe County Senior Services are teaming up to host the annual Appreciation of Veterans Pancake Breakfast on Saturday.
The event kicks off at 9 a.m. at the Sun Valley Neighborhood Center located at the Sun Valley Community Park 115 W 6th Avenue.
There will be a live performance of the national anthem, recognition of veterans and the event by state and local elected officials and a special welcome and thanks to all Veterans, active and inactive military and their families. Groups and various organizations will be on hand with information on services that support veterans, and the military.
At 9:30 a free pancake breakfast is served with all the fixings. The public is welcome to attend.
