Jimmy Carter returns to Washington, D.C. ahead of state funeral
Former President Jimmy Carter has made his last journey to Washington today. His body will be brought to the Capitol Rotunda where he will lie in state until Thursday's funeral. CBS's Natalie Brand has more on the remembrances.

The 39th president's remains left the Carter Presidential Center on Tuesday morning and flew to the Washington area aboard Special Air Mission 39.
Thursday will conclude six days of national rites that began in Plains, Georgia, where Carter was born in 1924.Â
