Pentagon gives Anthropic deadline to strike deal with government

A high-stakes deadline is looming in a showdown between the Pentagon and a major AI contractor. The Defense Department has given Anthropic until 5 P.M. Eastern to strike a deal on government access to its AI technology -- or risk losing its contracts and possibly being forced to turn over its tech under the Defense Production Act.
