Sparks police are currently investigating a wallet theft that took place in the gaming area of the Western Village Casino.
Police say a cocktail waitress retrieved a dark object, presumably a wallet, from the floor along the same path that the victim took and mistakenly handed the dark object to the guest playing the machine across the aisle from where the victim was seated.
The guest that took the wallet from the cocktail waitress allegedly put it away in his belongings, printed out his ticket at the machine he was playing, and exited the gaming area to cash out.
The suspect is described as a white male adult, 25-35 years of age, 5'8"-6'00", approximately 150-180 pounds, with black hair.
At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a plaid button-up shirt and blue jeans.
