The USDA is reporting that Ada Valley Gourmet, Inc. is recalling approximately 3,490 pounds of raw ground beef meatloaf products that may be contaminated with broken metal bits. This is a Class 1 recall, carrying a high health risk for consumers.
These products were shipped to hospitals in Nevada, California and Arizona.
They say the frozen, premixed raw ground beef meatloaf was produced on May 20th, 2019.
The USDA says the products subject to recall have the establishment number 'EST 10031" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
They say the problem was discovered on July 11th when a customer notified the plant.
