The BLM says a 6,483-acre wildfire south of Wells, Nevada is 60% contained.Â
The BLM said the Echo Fire started around 10:30 a.m. last Thursday.
There are around 302 personnel on the fire including nine hand crews, one helicopter, thirteen engines and various overhead. Current cooperators on the fire include: US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Nevada Division of Forestry, and Elko County Fire Protection.
The BLM says full containment is expected by July 18.
