As Burning Man comes to an end, a lot of burners are heading home early. You might notice more trailers out on the roads in Reno. It could mean people are going camping for Labor Day weekend or if campers are covered with dust, it just means burners are back from the playa. Tens of thousands of people are returning from the temporary metropolis Black Rock City after witnessing The Man burn Saturday night. Now, most burners are heading back to reality.

Alyssa Lochbaum from San Diego said, "The way home will be a very dusty ride. We need to clean our RV and drive back to San Diego and unpack and obviously clean out all the dust from all of our clothes and get back to normal life by I guess Tuesday."

Safety should always be a priority when driving, but when the roads are more congested with Burner traffic, people leaving Reno say it's important to pay extra attention on the roads.

Lee Taylor who works at an RV Rental in Portland Oregon said, "Be patient. You don't really get there any faster when you speed up and watch your speed. And you know you mix up the holiday weekend and there's saturation for patrols. So be safe."

Lochbaum also commented on traffic heading home and said, "I think one of the coolest things we all intended to do at burning man is to feel like we're always in the right place at the right time with all the right people, and that includes the drive up and down. So we consider the whole thing a part of the experience of just everyone not to be rushed and get home safe. Enjoy every single part of the experience because I mean part of the drive is just reflecting on the amazing time we had."

Lochbaum also said Burning Man doesn't always have a good reputation. However, she enjoyed her time in the playa, and says other people should try to go at least once in their life.

"It doesn't always have such a positive connotation, but it was the most amazing experience and I think every walk of life is there, and it was so special and everyone should really once in their life have the opportunity to go." said Lochbaum..
