Carson City Sheriff’s Deputies say they helped Yuba City authorities this past weekend search for evidence related to a California shooting.Â
The shooting happened the week of September 12th in Yuba City. The Carson City Sheriff’s Office tells us one motorcyclist was shot while riding his motorcycle. The extent of his injuries are currently unknown.Â
Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong tells Channel 2 News his agency worked with a Yuba City gang unit to serve property search warrants at a residence and Highway 50 Nautical Motorcycles, both in Carson City, in addition to a second residence in Yuba City. The two residences and business are owned by the same person who is considered a person of interest in the case. No warrants have been issued for his arrest.Â
The searches are said to have went without incident. No arrests have been made at this time.Â
