Carson City deputies say they have two suspects in custody in connection with a burglary involving stolen items like weapons and jewelry.
Sheriff Ken Furlong told Channel 2 News that SWAT deployed tear gas in a targeted home Thursday evening, but told us the 'primary' suspect was not inside the residence, located near Roop and Corbett Streets. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.Â
Sheriff Furlong says multiple burglaries have occurred in the region.
Washoe and Douglas County Sheriff's Offices are also investigating. Furlong says over 30 officers are also spread out across Washoe City and in southern Washoe County in connection with this incident, which started less than two weeks ago.
