Chain Controls MGN

Chain controls have gone into effect over I-80.

The chain controls are from California 89 to Drum Forebay Road.

Chains are required on all vehicles expect those with 4 four-wheel drive and snow tires.

Chain Controls 3-11

Traffic is currently being held on Mt. Rose Highway from the Incline Lake Recreation Area to Mile Marker 10. It is unclear whether this closure is due to weather conditions.

Additionally, vehicles over nine feet are prohibited on I-580 from US-395 alternate to Mt. Rose Highway due to high winds.
