Clark County commissioners voted Tuesday to ban glass bottles on the Las Vegas strip, to prevent violence and cut down on litter.
The measure prohibits anyone from carrying an open beverage glass container on Las Vegas Boulevard from the Stratosphere to Mandalay Bay, but tourists will still be able to consume alcohol in other containers.
