Candidate for Washoe County Sheriff, Heidi Howe, has filed a lawsuit against the Washoe County Sheriff's Office for alleged gender discrimination.
According to court documents, Howe had filed numerous complaints in the past for retaliation and several instances where she was passed over for promotions.
We reached out to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office for comment and they said they have not received or have seen the lawsuit at this time. They said once they receive it, they will review it with their legal team on how to proceed.
