Crews responded to a crash involving a motorcycle on Friday afternoon near the 900 block of Kietzke Lane.

The Reno Police Department says a motorcyclist stopped to let a pedestrian cross the road, but a Jeep didn't see the motorcyclist and hit them.

Officials said the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

They said one lane is closed on northbound Kietzke until further notice.

The Reno Police Department says speeding or impairment were not factors in the crash.
