The Reno Fire Department responded to a fire in the area south of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport on Thursday afternoon.
They said it was stopped at a quarter of an acre and crews are mopping up now.
They said an outbuilding was threatened at one point but the fire didn't get to it.
Reno Fire says the cause of that fire is under investigation.
They said they also responded to a fire near Clear Acre Lane and Scottsdale Road.
They said forward progress has been stopped at half an acre.
