Donald Trump Jr. said he's not worried about perjury.Â
After a two-and-a-half hour, closed-door interview before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday, Trump Jr. said he didn't need to correct his previous testimony.
He added if he needed to clarify anything it was due to President Trump's former personal lawyer Michael Cohen.
The hearing was intended to clear up discrepancies in his 2017 testimony about the Trump Tower Moscow project and several other topics.
After denying repeated requests to return for further questioning, Trump Jr. was subpoenaed.
Senate Intelligence Chairman Richard Burr of North Carolina and the panel's top Democrat Senator Mark Warner of Virginia declined to comment on what was discussed at the hearing - but when asked about Trump Jr.'s public comments, Burr said "I'm going to let him take him at his word."Â
