Don't Forget to Set Your Clocks Forward an Hour

It's that time of year again where the clocks are springing forward for Daylight Saving.

This weekend, you will need to adjust your clocks forward one hour. The change will occur early Sunday morning at 2 a.m.

Nevada Highway Patrol is warning the public to be extra careful when hitting the road after the time change. NHP Trooper Matthew McLaughlin says they do tend to see an increase in crashes nationwide. Along with losing an hour of sleep, many drivers are not used to the darkness in the morning, and lighter later in the day.

So, they are advising drivers to make sure they are ready before they get in their cars this week.Â
