Driver, Passenger Charged in Wild Los Angeles Chase

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The men who led authorities on a wild chase through Los Angeles that ended with a party-like arrest have been charged with burglary, hit-and-run and recklessly fleeing police.

Herschel Reynolds and Isaiah Young could face more than 6 ½ years in prison if they're convicted of last Thursday's escapade.

Young pleaded not guilty Monday. Reynolds is free pending arraignment.

Prosecutors say the men were involved in a burglary at a Cerritos home and a long chase through L.A. including Hollywood Boulevard, where the car stopped to do "doughnuts."

During the chase Reynolds, a discharged Marine driver, collided with other cars and Young stood in the open-top Mustang and danced.

The two finally stopped in their South Los Angeles neighborhood, getting high-fives from a crowd as they waited to be arrested.
