University of Nevada head men's basketball coach David Carter has signed Eden Ewing to a National Letter of Intent to play for Wolf Pack starting next season. Ewing is a 6-7 forward who is a senior at Fort Bend George Bush High School in Richmond, Texas.
“We are very excited to have Eden Ewing join the Wolf Pack” Carter said. “He is a talented forward who we think can come in next season and contribute as a freshman.”
Ewing helped GBHS to a 30-5 record in class 5A last season and the team advanced to the regional championship. His junior year he averaged 12 points, six rebounds and over a block per game. Rivals.com has him ranked as the 27th best prospect in Texas. Ewing play AAU basketball for TJ Ford Elite.
Ewing's father Lorenzo played college basketball at Louisiana Tech and Houston Baptist. His uncle Daniel was a McDonald's All-American who played collegiately at Duke and spent two years in the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers.
