Ask the Doc: Mind Body Healing

Heart failure does not mean the heart has stopped working, but instead it may be working less efficiently to meet the needs of the body. With heart failure, blood may move through the heart and body at a slower rate and your blood pressure may increase.

There are a host of symptoms including shortness of breath, persistent coughing, a lack of appetite dizziness or fatigue. According to the American Heart Association, these are common symptoms of heart failure.
