Organizers are looking for a few more teams to sign up for the Golfing for Our Heroes Golf Tournament, happening next Friday.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Veterans Guest House.
The tournament will take place at the Red Hawk Golf and Resort on Friday, June 16th with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start.
The tournament costs $150 per golfer. The event will include golf, a boxed lunch, post-tournament dinner, raffle and silent auction items.
Participation in this tournament helps support The Veterans Guest House, a "Home Away from Home" for U.S. military service veterans and their families who are receiving treatment at a medical facility in the Reno/Sparks area.
