Honorable Miranda Du to Become Chief Judge for District of Nevada

The United States District Court for the District of Nevada says Honorable Miranda Du will become the Chief Judge for the District Court in September.

They said she was appointed to the bench in 2012 and maintains her chambers in Reno.

They said she succeeds Honorable Gloria Navarro, who served as Chief Judge since January of 2014.

They said Judge Navarro remains an active Article III judge in the District.

Honorable Du will start on September 2.
