The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early morning ‘shots fired’ incident that occurred in Fernley.
Just before 12:30 a.m. on Thursday deputies responded to the service call in the 1000 block of Brierwood Lane.
Deputies say several shots were fired during the neighborhood dispute. No one was injured in the incident.
Sheriff Al McNeil says, “This remains an active investigation and deputies are aggressively running down leads. We believe this to be an isolated incident - a dispute between two parties - and does not present a threat to our community.”
