The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the pedestrian who died near the intersection of South McCarran Boulevard and Longley Lane in Reno early Friday morning. 

The ME's Office says 61-year-old Jack Stephens died on scene.

Authorities say the cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries.

Stephens is believed to have been homeless.

Reno Police said 49-year-old Richard Milburn was previously charged with hit-and-run causing death and a registration charge.


Reno Police say a pedestrian is dead after an early morning hit-and-run crash on McCarran Blvd. and Longley Lane.

It happened just after 5:30 a.m. Friday.

Police haven't released the name of the male pedestrian who died. 

Reno Police say they do not have any further information on the vehicle description at this time.

Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the hit-and-run.
