Saturday night, Washoe County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) responded to multiple reports of a party, cars blocking driveways and teenagers in the roadway along Dog Valley Road in Verdi.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found at least 200 minors in Quint Wegner's, 19, family home. Wegner later told deputies that his parent was out of town and claimed the party had gotten out of hand after his address was shared on social media.
Deputies spent at least an hour identifying minors and administering preliminary breath tests to people in attendance.
During this process, officials say they discovered most attendees were younger than 21, but were at least 18 years old. Those who were under 18 at the party were cited for being a minor in possession or consumption of alcohol, and were released to their parents.
WCSO says nearly everyone at the party was intoxicated at varying degrees.Â
Wegner was arrested without incident.
