Nevada senior quarterback Cody Fajardo has been named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, while Utah State senior linebacker Zach Vigil and Hawai‘i senior punter/punt returner/wide receiver Scott Harding earned MW Defensive and Special Teams honors, respectively. It is the second career MW weekly accolade for Fajardo, and first for both Vigil and Harding.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CODY FAJARDO, NEVADA
Senior, Quarterback, Brea, Calif. / Servite HS
•        Completed 29-of-39 passes for 321 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in Nevada's 35-28 loss at Arizona.
•        Engineered five scoring drives (three touchdowns, two field goals), including a 16-play, 84-yard drive that evened the game at 21 with a 6-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Hassan Henderson midway through the third quarter.
•        Down 14 in the fourth quarter, Fajardo pulled the Wolf Pack within one score by throwing a 6-yard scoring strike to tight end Jarred Gipson.
•        Just before halftime, Fajardo connected with Gipson on a 7-yard score to draw Nevada within 21-13 at halftime.
•        Carried the ball nine times with a long run of 15 yards.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ZACH VIGIL, UTAH STATE
Senior, Linebacker, Clearfield, Utah / Clearfield HS
•        Intercepted his first pass of the season and returned it 37 yards for his first career touchdown as Utah State defeated Wake Forest 36-24.
•        Recorded four quarterback hurries.
•        Had a season-high 2.5 tackles for loss as part of his 4.0 total tackles. Also registered one pass breakup.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
SCOTT HARDING, HAWAI‘I
Senior, Punter / Punt Returner / Wide Receiver, Brisbane, Australia / Anglican Church Grammar School
•         Averaged 38.7 yards on a career-high 11 punts as Hawai‘i topped Northern Iowa 27-24.
•   Averaged 10.9 yards on a career-best seven punt returns. Five of his seven returns went for 10-plus yards.
•   Seven of his 11 punts landed inside the UNI 20-yard line, including two inside the 10.
•   A fourth-quarter punt by Harding deflected off a Northern Iowa returner and was recovered by the Rainbow Warriors, setting up a field goal to put UH ahead 27-17 with 5:53 remaining in the game.
•   Recovered UNI's on-side kick attempt late in the fourth quarter after the Panthers closed to within 27-24 late in the fourth quarter.
•   His seven punt returns tied a Mountain West single-game record, while his 11 punts tied for the fourth-most in a game in league history.
