From the University of Nevada:
With temperatures forecasted into the mid-90s on Saturday, the Nevada athletics department is providing additional resources to help fans beat the heat when the Wolf Pack takes on No. 22 Arizona at Mackay Stadium.
The department will expand the number of hydration stations and cooling tents within the stadium and officials will allow for additional sealed water bottles and empty refillable bottles to be brought into the stadium.
Additionally, sunscreen and neck cooling towels provided by Hometown Health will be available for fans while supplies last. Their booth will be by the northwest entrance (Gate 5) at Mackay Stadium.
Temperatures are projected in the mid-90s for the 4 p.m. kickoff against the nationally ranked Wildcats. A near-sellout crowd is expected with remaining tickets available at (775) 348-PACK or at NevadaWolfPack.com.
Nevada will have three hydration stations on the north end of Mackay, with two on the upper levels near concession stands and restrooms and the other behind the student section. A fourth hydration station will be underneath the south end zone seating area.
Two large cooling tents, with fans, water, chairs and additional medical personnel, will also be available. One is the north section behind the student section and the other is underneath the south end zone seating area.
Typically, Nevada allows one unsealed plastic water bottle per person to be brought into the stadium. For the game on Saturday, fans can bring in more than one bottle and can also bring in empty bottles to fill at the hydration stations.
The game is being billed as a “Whiteout” with fans urged to wear white shirts. The Wolf Pack team will wear it’s white uniforms against the Wildcats.
